Share Here are some of the resources I use. I consider the first two, TrafficWave and Instant Splash Pro as MANDATORY, non-negotiable tools in order to create a successful online business. One added benefit of the resources that I use is the income streams that I am able to generate. While these tools are not my primary business, I do generate a monthly income from them. In other words, the tools I use pay for themselves. And I would use them even if I wasn’t getting additional revenue.

TOOLS

Autoresponder – A computer program that automatically answers e-mail sent to it, autoresponders help you stay in touch with your prospects. Industry research says it takes as many as 7 contacts before someone is willing to make a decision on what you are offering. Autoresponders are often used as e-mail marketing tools, to immediately provide information to their prospective customers and then follow-up with them at preset time intervals. If you are trying to build a list or have any type of business, you must have a way of staying in contact with them. TrafficWave is my preferred autoresponder because of its deliverability rate, low flat-rate cost, unlimited list size, unlimited campaigns and unlimited subscribers. A bonus of using TrafficWave is the 10 level affiliate program.

Splash Page Maker – A splash page maker makes capture and splash pages. These capture pages are very targeted, and focus on capturing a name and email address. When someone puts their information in the form on the capture page, they are requesting the information you offered and they’re giving you permission to send them email. Instant Splash is an easy-to-use capture page maker which integrates with TrafficWave if you are a PRO member. This enables you to put your opt-in form directly on the splash page, making it a capture page. These pages enable you to capture your prospect’s attention which allows you to capture their contact information when they fill in the form.

Another tool I use in this same category is AdKreator which is a great program for making splash pages and banners. You can make unlimited banners with the upgraded membership, and AdKreator even hosts the images on their server. This program is a great tool for making custom banners, so you can brand yourself. This is important or you’ll just be another “me too”.

SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES

Social sites are great tools for building relationships with other people, even globally if you wish. You probably noticed the Facebook “Share” logo at the beginning of this information. Facebook is a great place to reconnect with people from your past as well as build relationships with new friends. If you are going to use Facebook as a way to build your business, you must do more than 97% of the people do, which is just post sales links after sales links. Build a relationship first, then, if it’s right, offer your business info.
Twitter is another means of meeting like-minded people. Again, so many people use this tool incorrectly. The key to success here is to provide useful content, not just blatantly SPAM everyone with referral links. Build relationships first, then you can offer information on what you are doing. People are much more likely to follow you if you act like a leader, not a SPAM’er.
